In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, ballroom dancing, traveling, cooking, and photography. My husband and I have a five year old son, named Kris, and just celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary this summer.
I began my teaching career at Saratoga High School in 2004 and have been at Gunn since 2006. I received a double Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Marketing, a Master¹s Degree in Education Technology, and a teaching credential, all from Santa Clara University. I also recieved a certificate to teach business to high school students from the Wharton School of Business and started the new business program at Gunn called Gunn BEAM (Business, Entrepreneurship, and Math). In the program, students apply math in real-life business applications through their vounteer work for local non-profit organizations and mentorship received from private sector firms.
